So, is a Mic mandatory?

No, but it is preferable...vent can be useful if you can hear and follow directions in a clan battle or scrimage. it is much more efficient than typing

Soon enough. After Open beta, vent will be mandatory...you dont have to get on every day or anything like that....once and a while is fine.
